Anna didn’t hesitate to explain that she didn’t believe Rebecca was the right woman for him, reminding him that she had practically raised him and did not approve of their relationship. Rebecca was about to reveal herself when Andrew firmly interrupted her, insisting that Rebecca was his wife and that Anna had no right to interfere in their marriage. He then told Anna to leave, explaining that Rebecca would be home the following day and that he needed to prepare the house for her return. Unable to hold back her emotions any longer, Rebecca emerged from beneath the bed with tears streaming down her face. “How could you?” she asked, her voice trembling. Anna recoiled in surprise, while Andrew was equally stunned to see Rebecca standing there.
